We Are Grateful: Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange Receives Grants from Three Valued Community Funders this spring!

At SVBE, every refurbished bike, every free repair class and every donor recipient who rides safely is made possible by people and organizations who believe in this work. We are proud to announce recent grant support from three outstanding community foundations whose generosity will help us continue building a more sustainable and equitable Silicon Valley, one bicycle at a time.

Founded in 1991, the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation (LAMVCF) connects people, resources and ideas to transform local potential into lasting impact in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View. We are honored to receive a grant from LAMVCF in support of our work bringing bicycle access and education to residents across the region.

Palo Alto Community Fund

The Palo Alto Community Fund (PACF) serves as a catalyst for positive change and an enduring community resource to ensure a vibrant Palo Alto, East Palo Alto and Menlo Park, raising and stewarding funds from donors and investing in the local nonprofit ecosystem to empower the community as a whole. We are grateful to PACF for their investment in BikeX's programs and for their trust in our volunteer-driven model.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

The Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund is a program of the Embarcadero Media Foundation and has made grants totaling more than $11 million to local nonprofit organizations with programs serving families and children in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto and Menlo Park since 1994. Individual donations to the Holiday Fund are matched by participating local foundations, and 100% of all funds raised are distributed to local nonprofit organizations. The grant from the Holiday Fund will go directly toward expanding our reach to the families and children who benefit most from access to safe, reliable transportation.
