From now through Friday, November 25, 2022, (now extended until) December 2, 2022, make a monetary gift to BikeX and your contribution will be matched by the Board during our first-ever Board Match!
The Board has noticed that charitable gifts to the Bike Exchange are lagging what we’ve received in previous years. At the same time, we’re repairing more bikes than ever, which clearly adds to our expenses. We know it has been a tough year for many, particularly among the recipients of our bicycles, so please help us end the year on a strong note by making a gift today. All gifts will be matched up to a total of $20,000, doubling the impact of your contribution.
Your gift can make a difference in the lives of our local community.
- an $11 gift will pay for a U-lock for one of our bike recipients
- a $37 gift will provide a U-lock, helmet, and basic front and rear lights to one recipient
- a $50 gift will cover the parts needed to refurbish a typical bike to be donated to someone in need
- $200 will pay for parts/supplies for one community bike repair event
- a $350 gift will cover the cost of kids' helmets for our quarterly delivery of kids' bikes to a partner organization
- $920 would provide enough funds to supply a U-lock with every bike we donate in a typical month
