Bob has been a volunteer of the Bike Exchange for many years. He found the bike exchange because he needed a place to donate a bike that a friend had left at his house. The bike had been sitting at his house for many years and it was decided that the best thing to do with it was to donate it instead of letting it end up at a landfill. He ended up volunteering his time because he discovered how much fun he had on the first day. He had already had previous bike repair knowledge and through volunteering, he relearned all of it and even a few new things.
